Cutaway thin body acoustic.

Body and neck: Black Cherry with Torrefied Oak Center stripe.

Top: Torrefied Curly Oak.

Back: Tamarack Archback.

Bracing: Fir lattice.

Fretboard: Torrefied Oak with Brass fret dots.

Frets: 22, Gold

Nut/Saddle: Bone

Pick guard: Custom engraved Cherry.

Bridge: Torrefied Oak and Maple Balance Bridge

Soundhole: F-holes

Tailpiece: Torrefied Oak.

Vent port: Medium Oval.

Finish: Hand mixed shellac sealcoat. Satin Oil topcoats.

Pickup: None.

Sound: An experiment from the beginning that turned out to be a real unique sound. Oak is too heavy to use for a top, but when Torrefied (carefully heated over a long duration) it gets very light and responsive. Somewhere between the crisp highs of maple, with the warm growl of sapele.
