Bamboo Flute in E minor

This is a 6-hole bamboo flute in E Natural Minor. Depending on the player, the range is usually an octave and a half, with some added overtone notes. You can also play the in-between notes using half hole and cross fingering techniques.

Made using traditional ingredients (Bamboo, Fire & Patience).

A bit of my process:
1. All of my flutes have been carefully selected from bamboo grown for this very reason.
2. Carefully dried, then soaked in Pure Tung Oil.
3. The dark color comes from slow and steady heat treating. This makes for a much more resonant and crack resistant flute.
4. Oiled and waxed inside and out. This seals out moisture and allows for easier cleaning. It also improves the tone and balances response.
