We have carefully torched this piece in the traditional Japanese style of Shou Sugi Ban. Shimmering blacks with golden highlights.

Metal Hairpin legs, optional rubber feet and screws are included. Screw holes will be pre-drilled.

The finish is a non-toxic hard-wearing varnish. Multiple coats for maximum protection and durability. Buffed and waxed to a silky-smooth warm glow.

Our wood is sourced from natural deadfall and rescues throughout the New England area. Milled and handcrafted at The Vail Workshop by Sam & Luke Vail in Canton, MA.
